Religious Education

The religious education program at St. Leo’s is intended to provide formal instruction in the faith for those in grades 1-10. This instruction along with participation at weekend Mass and faith formation in the home has the goal of leading our young people to a deeper relationship with God and the Church. 

  • Sacramental preparation is provided for children making their First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
  • Generally those in grades 1-5 meet every other week on Saturday mornings from 9 AM- 11 AM.
  • Generally those in grades 7-10 meet every other week on Tuesday nights from 7-8:30 PM.
  • Those in 6th grade may sign up to attend on either Saturday morning or Tuesday evening.
  • We also offer an at-home program which meets once a month on Sunday from 10:45-11:45 AM.
  • We incorporate the Growing in Faith Together (G.I.F.T.) sessions into the religious education schedule.  Please see the section on G.I.F.T.
